Ludo Game
Ludo is a classic, fun, and competitive game that can be played by two to four players. Each player has four pieces of a distinct color, and the objective is to move all their pieces from their home base to the safe zone before their opponents.
Game Objective
The objective for each player is to move all four of their pieces from the starting area (home base) to the final safe zone at the center of the board, following a designated path.
Game Setup
- The game can be played by two or four players.
- Each player has 4 pieces of a distinct color: red, yellow, green, blue.
- Each piece is numbered by color, such as: red1, red2, red3, red4.
- Each player starts with their pieces in their home base and can only move them out after rolling a 6.
- At the start of the game, each player rolls the die. The first one to get a 6 chooses a color, and the other colors are assigned randomly.
Gameplay
- The host, or the player who first rolled a 6, starts the game.
- If a player rolls a 6, they can move a piece out of the home base or move a piece already on the board.
- Rolling a 6 grants the player an extra roll.
- If a player rolls three 6s in a row, their turn is passed to the next player without moving any piece.
- Results from consecutive rolls, like a 6 and a 5, can be used to move one or more pieces sequentially.
- If a piece lands on a square occupied by an opponent’s piece, the opponent’s piece is captured and sent back to its home base.
- Once a piece reaches the safe zone, it cannot be captured by an opponent.
Game Rules
- Rolling a 6: Used to move a piece out of the home base or to move any other piece.
- Rolls less than 6: Used only to move pieces that are already on the board.
- Capturing Pieces: If a piece lands on the same square as an opponent’s piece, the opponent’s piece is sent back to its home base.
- Three Sixes: If a player rolls three 6s in a row, their turn ends immediately.
Special Features
- A custom die can be purchased from the store and used at any time to determine the outcome of a roll.
- The custom die can only be used twice per game.
